Emmanuel Paul

Emmanuel Paul is the founder of FighterMindset, an organization dedicated to empowering individuals to overcome life’s challenges and achieve their full potential. As a cancer survivor and an immigrant from Haiti, Emmanuel brings a unique perspective and resilience to his work. His journey has been marked by significant personal battles, and he has emerged with a deep commitment to helping others navigate their own struggles.

As an immigrant, Emmanuel understands the complexities of adapting to new environments and overcoming cultural barriers. His work with FighterMindset also focuses on supporting immigrants and
marginalized communities, providing them with the tools and confidence needed to succeed in their new homes.

Driven by his personal experiences and a passion for helping others, Emmanuel Paul continues to inspire and uplift individuals through FighterMindset, proving that with determination and the right mindset,
any challenge can be overcome.

Emmanuel’s experience with cancer taught him the importance of mental fortitude and the power of a positive mindset. Through FighterMindset, he seeks to share these lessons and provide support to those facing difficult circumstances. The organization offers resources, workshops, and personal coaching aimed at building resilience and fostering a fighter’s mindset.

Marc Désir

Marc Désir is a former student of the École Normale Supérieure of the Université d’État d’Haïti (UEH). He holds a doctorate in history from the Université des Antilles et de la Guyane. He has been active as a history teacher at secondary and university level since 1994. He worked at the Université d’État d’Haïti as head of the IERAH/ISERSS History Department from 2007 to 2019 and as dean of the same institute from 2013 to 2019. He specializes in the relationship between the press and political power, the subject of his thesis.

Marc cooperates with York University’s Harriet Tubman Institute, which works on Afrodescendants, and the European Slavery Project (EURESCL). He has collaborated with CHRAD (Centre Haïtien de Recherche en Aménagement et en Développement), CRESFED (Centre de Recherche et de Formation Économique et Sociale pour le Développement) and the journal Itinéraires of the Faculty of Sciences of the Université d’État d’Haïti, among others. Since 2001, he has been a member of the Société Haïtienne d’Histoire, de Géographie et de Géologie.

Currently, he cooperates with CTN (CaribbeanTelevisionNetwork) and presents the program “Le Culturel.” He also teaches and
participates as a social worker in the prevention of juvenile delinquency, provides assistance to victims of all kinds and to the sick, particularly cancer sufferers.

Marc Désir is a fervent advocate of education and community involvement. His vast experience and dedication to teaching and research have had a significant impact on his students and colleagues. As a founding member of FighterMindset, Marc uses his expertise to help individuals overcome life’s challenges and develop personal resilience. His work with young people and the vulnerable reflects his deep commitment to improving living conditions and promoting well-being for all.

Myrline Jean-Baptiste

Myrline Jean Baptiste is a successful entrepreneur and founder of Myrline Arts, a company specializing in the creation of fashion clothing. She is renowned as one of Haiti’s top fashion designers. Her talent and creativity have made her creations must-haves in the Haitian fashion industry.

Myrline is also deeply involved in charitable activities. She is a board member of FighterMindset, where she uses her influence and resources to help people in need. In addition to her involvement with FighterMindset, she actively participates in various community initiatives aimed at improving the living conditions of the less fortunate.

Through her dedication to both fashion and her social commitments, Myrline Jean Baptiste continues to inspire and support those around her, proving that success and compassion can go hand in hand.
